  3. A sad theme to this week’s The Slog Sweep
19th June 2015 by The Slog Sweep

A sad theme to this week’s The Slog Sweep

On this week’s show, we chat to Paul Reynolds about the very sad passing of Leinster Cricket Club and Ireland Legend, Gerry Duffy. Paul also puts his Cricket Leinster and Umpire’s cap on. Robbo and Bails also chat to Laura Delany (Ireland, Leinster CC and The Dragons) who gives us an update on all things women’s cricket.

All the usuals are here as well as we check in with David Holmes and Barry Chambers on ‘Around The Grounds’ plus Robbo returns with another Cricket Mythbuster and an Almost Cricket Legend.

And we have all the details for a brilliant competition with the prize of a brand new O’Neill’s Ireland cricket jersey and two tickets for the ODI against Australia in Stormont up for grabs.

Episode 34 of the Slog Sweep can be listened to at http://theslogsweep.com/episode-34/

The Slog Sweep, with thanks to Currency Fair, is back for the new season and you can be part of it too. We want to hear from you – the listener – and you can get in touch on Twitter, Facebook or via our website – theslogsweep.com.
