COMMUNITY SPORTS FACILITIES FUND 2026 - UPDATED CL WEBINAR INFORMATION (TUESDAY, OCT 20TH, 2026)

The 2026 round of the Community Sports Facilities Fund (CSFF), previously known as the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme, has been announced.

The key dates to be aware of are as follows:

- Open for registrations (next Mon 28th)
- Open for applications (Mon 19th Oct)
- Applications deadline (Fri 26th Feb 2027)

Registration will take place through the Department’s new SPRAOI online system (organisations already registered on OSCAR system should transfer automatically).

As clubs will be aware from previous communication, we have scheduled a full briefing session for CL clubs on the application process which will now take place on the new date of Tuesday, 20th October 2026 (via zoom), commencing at 7.00pm.

The briefing session will be delivered and facilitated by 2into3 Limited who are specialists in the not-for-profit/volunteer sector with a proven track record of assisting sports clubs in securing funding.

Adam McCormick, Consultant in the Public Funding at 2into3, will lead the session along with Dennis O’Connor and Trevor Watkins in attendance. Adam has extensive experience across different CSFF projects and has supported clubs to refine their project ideas, strengthen their pitch, and prepare high-quality applications.

We are hoping that many CL clubs will be in a position to apply for some level of funding.
