Ciara Metcalfe will face her former club for the first time as The Hills' take on Pembroke in Park Avenue this evening. In a tie that will no doubt be an tough fought affair for The Hills' player coach, Metcalfe will be looking to use her knowledge of her former teammates to give her underdog side an advantage.
Down the way in Anglesea Road, Mary Waldron's Malahide take on Merrion. With Merrion missing a couple of players, Waldron will hope to sneak a win past the Sandymount side. Young pacer Lara Mauritz was recently rewarded for her current form with a place in the Ireland A side that travels to England in a couple of weeks and with their form on the up, now could be the time for The Village to take a big scalp.
Laura Delany's Leinster make the journey to North Kildare but Delany will have to watch from the sideline as she rests a slight injury. The strength in depth of the Rathmines outfit is a feature often remarked upon, however, and in-form Una Raymond-Hoey and Amy Kenealy will look to stamp their presence on the tie with bat and ball respectively.
