For the first three months of the season [from 1st April - 30th June] there have been over 36,000 visitors to the Cricket Leinster website with over 186,000 sessions and over 1 million page views. All figures show an increase over 2015 - with the number of session up 7.72% and users by 11.21%.
As one would expect just under 90% of the sessions involved visors based in Ireland [the same as for the previous year], with nearly 5% from the UK and the rest from around the world. Just over half the session were from mobile devices [a 16% increase on 2015], reflecting the interest in the Match Centre. For tech lovers - the proportion accessing via tablets has gone down by 5%.
Leaving aside occasions where the schedule of matches were rained off, the number of sessions at weekends is in the 3000s, the highest being 3924 on the 29th May.
