U’13 Girls Match No. 2 Summary Report

Today saw the second Inter-provincial match for the U'13 Girls age group. Selection for the Leinster Malvern U’13 team, Wales Away and Wales Home teams will be sent out within the next 24 hours to parents and they will be posted here on the Cricket Leinster website on Friday evening. At this point we would like to say well done to all the players involved in the matches, the Easter Camp and the Winter sessions. You were all involved in these for a reason – nominated by your clubs. So keep up the dedication to the game and if you miss out this year, maybe next year will be your year!

Thanks to the Cricket Leinster Coaches that helped out today - Amy Kenealy, Diarmuid Lynch and Naomi Scott-Hayward, as well as Anna Kerrison who was doing CoachEd observation and helped out throughout the day with warm ups etc. Also thanks goes to Harry for scoring, much appreciated! A huge thank you to Rush CC who were gracious hosts for both the training day on Monday and todays matches. Great support from parents and local players that came down to watch. The amazing weather made the day even more enjoyable, as did the quality of cricket from the girls. Some up and coming Irish team players here we hope!
