Having successfully launched its' own Cricket Academy in 2013 and in response to increased demand, Terenure CC is now supporting the development of a broader West Dublin Cricket Academy under the direction of Ireland Under 17s Head Coach, Ted Williamson.
Supported by a team of well established coaches, the SixW Cricket Academy will initially run indoor coaching sessions throughout January, February and March at St Mary's College, Rathmines, Dublin transitioning to an outdoor programme at Terenure CC during the late spring/ summer months.
The key dates and times for the programme in the first quarter of 2014 are as follows:
Saturday 11th, 18th, 25th January;
Saturday 1st, 8th, 15th February;
Saturday 8th, 15th, 22nd March
Under 13s & 15s - 11am to 1.00pm
Under 17s & 19s - 1.00pm to 3.00pm
The programme will be open to both boys and girls and will include batting, bowling and fielding skills sessions in addition to specific strength and conditioning work for the under 17 and 19 grouping.
The cost of the indoor programme (all 9 sessions) is €90 per child and is open to all children irrespective of previous experience with club and/or school.
