Just to remind everyone that the Leinster Lightning will commence the 2017 season with a 50-over match against North West Warriors on Bank Holiday Monday, 1st May 2017. The Hills Cricket Club in Skerries, County Dublin, is hosting the game.
We are asking all clubs across Leinster to support the Lightning by coming to The Hills for what promises to be an exciting fixture – the first under our new Head Coach, Albert van der Merwe.
There will be plenty of food and drink on sale including a BBQ courtesy of our brilliant hosts at The Hills – so why not put the date in your diary and come to Skerries for the day to enjoy the cricket and the warm hospitality.
We will also be running a spectators competitions on the day with the chance for people attending the game to win some nice prizes including memorabilia, signed shirts, signed bats etc. You can also enter the competition by liking the post about this event on the Cricket Leinster Facebook page.
