  3. Senior Averages: First Benchmark Part II

Senior Averages: First Benchmark Part II

Quarter way through the season [in terms of the likely number of senior matches to be played] and we have some early results from the individual performances. Yesterday we set out th emain batting and Bolwing Averages - today everything else.

First off the All-Rounders with the threshold 100 runs / 5 wickets or keeper dismissals. The standard points formula is used - 1 = 1 run , 20 = 1 wicket / dismissal. Given that they have played more matches it is not surprising that there are a number of Trinity players in the mix, including George Dockrell who tops the table.

In terms of wicket keepers, and to add something extra, we use the same points formula but deduct a point for each bye. Threshold five dismissals.

For outfield catches Dockrell is again out in front with 5 followed by Muhammed Farrukh, Alan Reynolds and Theo Lawson.

Of those meeting the qualifying thresholds the following have scoring rates of over 100 and bowlers with economy rates lower than 3.
