Report of end of season OCC meeting

At the OCC meeting last evening we considered the final league positions. Decisions were made on unplayed refixtures with some walkovers being awarded and others being deemed no result. These decisions have been advised separately to the clubs concerned.

League Winners were confirmed as follows

Division 1 - Clontarf

Division 2 - Cork County

Division 3 - YMCA 2

Division 4 - Phoenix 2

Division 5 - Knockharley

Division 6 - Longford

Division 7 - Sandyford

Division 8 - Balbriggan 2

Division 9 - The Hills 3

Division 10 - Railway Union 4

Division 11 - Ring Commons

Division 12 - Merrion 7

Division 13 - Ashbourne

Division 14 - Balbriggan 3

Division 15 - Clontarf 6

Division 16 - AIB

There are still a small number of cases where we know a match took place but we do not have sufficient information to allocate points. It is hoped to sort this shortly and publish final league tables. All important league placings are clear.

The winners of the various Open Competitions individual awards were also confirmed as follows

Division 1 Batting (Marchant Cup) - Eddie Richardson (North County)

Bowling (O'Grady Cup) - Paul Lawson (Pembroke)

Wicketkeeping (Hopkins Cup) - Jamie Grassie (North County)

Fielding (Solomons Cup) - Kenny Carroll (Railway Union)

All-Rounder (Samuels Cup) - Simmi Singh (YMCA)

 

 

Division 2 Batting (Bruton Cup) - Stephen Doheny (Rush)

Bowling (Clarke Cup - George Dockrell (DU/Leinster)

Wicketkeeping (Satchwell Trophy) - Fintan McAllister (Malahide)

Fielding (Vincent Cup) - Alan Reynolds (Malahide)

All -Rounder (Ellis Cup) - George Dockrell (DU/Leinster)

Bowling (Oulton Cup) - Jay Shelat (YMCA)

Wicketkeepimg (Cullen Cup) - tied Richard Forrest(Clontarf), Mohammed Ramazan (Laois)

All-Rounder -(Webster Cup) - Vijay Gopal (Clontarf)
