The Leinster Lightning selectors have the pleasure in announcing the following squad for Sunday’s Hanley Energy Inter-Provincial 50-over match against the North-West Warriors in The Hills Cricket Club.
Lighting players and staff are determined to maintain our unbeaten status so far this year, having beaten both the Knights and Warriors in 50-over clashes this year already.
Squad for 12th June:
John Anderson (Cpt); Yaqoob Ali (YMCA); Peter Chase (Malahide); George Dockrell (Trinity/Leinster); Dom Joyce (Merrion); Tyrone Kane (Merrion); Eddie Richardson (North County); Simi Singh (YMCA); Max Sorensen (The Hills); Jack Tector (YMCA); Sean Terry (YMCA); Lorcan Tucker (Trinity/Pembroke).
The selectors are delighted to be able to name a settled and consistent team and this squad reflects only a single change to that which beat the Warriors over 50-overs in Strabane in late May with Jack Tector returning from injury to replace the recently retired Andrew Poynter.
The first ball will be bowled in the Vineyard at 10:45am on Sunday and admission is free on all days.
