The Leinster Lightning selectors have the pleasure in announcing the following squad for Friday’s Hanley Energy Inter-Provincial 20-over match against the North-West Warriors in Eglinton Cricket Club
This is our second T20 match of the season, having seen off the same opposition back in May in Merrion CC.
Squad for 24th June:
John Anderson (Cpt); Yaqoob Ali (YMCA); Kenny Carroll (Railway Union); Peter Chase (Malahide); George Dockrell (Trinity/Leinster); Robert Forrest (Clontarf); Dom Joyce (Merrion); Tyrone Kane (Merrion); Eddie Richardson (North County); Simi Singh (YMCA); Max Sorensen (The Hills); Lorcan Tucker (Trinity/Pembroke).
The squad above is now fairly consistent and settled across all three formats this season and reflects only two changes with Kenny Carroll being rewarded for his excellent recent club-form by being called-up to replace Sean Terry who is currently playing in the County Championship.
We’re also delighted to announce that Clontarf’s Robert Forrest has been selected in the squad for the first time.
The first ball will be bowled at 5pm on Friday and admission is free.
