Changes to implementation of Law 3.8 & 3.9

Recently the ECB announced a change to the interpretation of Ground, Weather and Light Laws which apply to recreational cricket. Both Cricket Ireland and Cricket Leinster have endorsed and adopted this change. From a players point of view there won’t be much noticeable change but there may be instances where play is not possible when it might have been before. The umpires will work with the team captains and ground staff and communicate their concerns at all times.

Previous The start of the 98th league season.
