Last week we looked at the first day of the new Leinster League in 1919. We saw the first matches played in it on 10th May 1919 featuring Civil Service; Leinster; University College and RHMS. I said at that time that this week we would look at the first matches played by each of the remaining 4 teams.
The second week of the League featured 2 more matches, and these in turn featured debuts by two more teams, Dublin University and Pembroke. Each of their opponents, University College and RHMS, had played the previous week.
The first match might be couted as the first colours match in the League.
