12th September 2025 by Cricket Leinster

WOMEN’S DIVISION TWO INDIVIDUAL AWARDS CONFIRMED!

Following the completion of the SportsHub Division 2 season, it’s now time to turn our attention to the individual award winners – with three trophies up for grabs in this league, going to the leading batter, bowler and wicketkeeper.

BATTING

This trophy is returning to the same club as it was won in last season, as Isobel Jennings is the leading average for Division 2, following on from her team-mate Eimear Mullen who claimed the award in 2024. Jennings’ 433 runs came at an average of nearly 62, putting her clear of the Terenure duo of Cara O’Shea and Sophie Ullah, with Roise Neuman-Jones and Jenny Sparrow also reaching the qualifying threshold this term.

BOWLING

Having last season been claimed by Aisling McCormack for the league winners Rush, the bowling cup for 2025 is another trophy which is heading to Sydney Parade. With the qualifying mark set at 15 wickets, the leading bowling average is that of Anna Beale, who’s average of just 7.88 puts her clear of Annabel Walsh of Clontarf at the top of the table.

HEARNDEN CUP – WICKET-KEEPING

Having seen this award head to Kenure for the past three seasons, Rush’s promotion has meant the Hearnden Cup for leading wicket-keeper in the division will have a new home following the 2025 season. With only two ‘keepers passing the 10 dismissal mark this time around, the winner is Sophie Ullah of Terenure.

Congratulations to all of the winners on these brilliant achievements to round out their 2025 season.

All prizes will be presented at the CL Awards Night and Gala Dinner, which will be held in the magnificent Round Room in the Mansion House on January 30th, 2026.
