Railway Union Women 2015

The Railway Union womens 1st XI finished 2nd in division 2 last year and the 2nd XI finished 4th. It was the general feeling that with such a young team promotion would be too soon, so they were happy to stay in division 2. Alison O’Reilly, Niamh Keenahan and Captain Anna Callahan all had a great season last year and are super keen going into their first games. A couple of youngsters also doing well are Emma O’Leary and Orla Flanagan.

Railway Unions new coach Rob Abbott has taken over as previous coach ex Irish Captain Heather Whelan is expecting baby number 4 on the 19th of July, so needless to say won’t be playing.

Anyone interested in joining Railway Union C.C. should contact Judy Cohen - E: judycohen1955@gmail.com P: 012838698 or 0872344798

Training takes place on Monday nights from 6.30 to 8.30 pm.
