Youth Cricket: Weekly Report

Youth Cricket in 2013 – 17th July

There are two Cup finals this week.

On Friday the Boys’ U13 Watkins Cup is between Merrion and YMCA in Anglesea Road at 17 30.

The U11 Girls Dorothy Doolan Cup final between Clontarf and The Hills takes place in Castle Avenue on Saturday at 09 30.

Boys’ Leagues

U11A – Wins for Phoenix, Leinster and Pembroke keep YMCA and Pembroke as favourites for the top two places.

U11BN – Wins for Rush and The Hills but Malahide, North County and Phoenix still vying for the two semi final spots.

U11BS – Another five games played and wins for YMCA (3), Leinster and Old Belvedere leave these at the top.

BU11CN – Three more games played but it is still Adamstown and Malahide on top.

BU11CS – No change here with Leinster leading from YMCA.

BU13A – An extra six games played leaves YMCA leading from Pembroke and four teams level in third.

BU13BN – Still Clontarf, Rush and Malahide are the only teams to have won matches.

BU13BS – YMCA are leading from Leinster but many games to be played.

BU13C – Leinster won the only game played so now head the table.

BU15A – Phoenix are on top but there still five teams unbeaten and lots of games to be played.

BU15BN – No games played yet.

BU15BS – YMCA lead with two wins but only four games have been played.

BU171 – North County have won the only three games played.

BU172 – Leinster and YMCA have won the only two matches completed.

BU173 – Midlands and The Hills have one win each.

BU19N – North County with two and Pembroke with one win.

BU19S – Merrion and YMCA have one win each.

Girls’ Leagues

U11 – No change here with Pembroke leading from The Hills and Malahide but less than a third of the fixtures completed.

U13 – No games played during the week and YMCA ahead.

U15 – Leinster and YMCA have won the only games played.

U17 – Malahide/Rush have won the only two fixtures completed.

Boys’ Cups

U11 – YMCA beat Pembroke by 8 wkts in the final.

U13 – Merrion play YMCA in Anglesea Road on Friday at 17 30.

U15 – North County will play Clontarf in the final at Inch on Friday 26th July.

Girls’ Cups

U11 – Clontarf play The Hills in the final at Castle Avenue on Saturday at 09 30.

U13 – YMCA will play The Hills in the final at Claremont Road on Thursday 25th July at 17 30.

U15 – The Hills play Merrion in the semi final and YMCA have already qualified for the final on Thursday 1st August.

U17 – Malahide/Rush will play Leinster in the final in Malahide on Wednesday 7th August.
