This year saw the introduction of the Vitallity Sports First Team League – there are now just six rounds of fixtures to be played in this new League for the 2025 season.
The race for the batting trophy is currently being led by Mick Cotter (Terenure) who is locked in a tight battle with Yash Kalasannavar (North Kildare) and Deepak Jayachandran (Civil Service).

Aamir Bafanda (Civil Service) is in pole position in the bowling table for this League having already accumulated 22 wickets at just 11.32 apiece. Two North Kildare bowlers are his nearest challengers – Asadullah Ahmadzai (15 wickets at 13.8) and Husnain Maroof (16 wickets at 14.63).

On the wicket-keeping front, Gareth Morgan (Terenure) is currently in top-spot with 11 dismissals however with six rounds still to play, the destination of this trophy is still too close to all – Rohit Gulati of Adamstown has 10 dismissals (just one shy of Morgan).

Similar to the Premier League, the leading all-rounder in the Vitallity Sports First Team League will be determined via a points system which recognises individual contributions across the season. There are three players clustered in a range of just 25 points and based on current form, any of these three could have their name on this Cup by the end of the season.
