Gloucestershire win by 122 runs.

On Sunday, 12th August, the rain stopped all outdoor play and was replaced by indoor cricket matches against Wales U13 Girls and Gloucestershire U13 Girls, both of which they were defeated in.

However, the Leinster team had some great development opportunities and experienced well rounded oppositions throughout the tournament. They played against leg-spin, off-spin, in-swingers, they bowled against left-handed batters and against national teams as well as county teams that have been unbeaten in their age category of the County Championships. It was a whole different ball game than playing league cricket here against each other, and more often than not, playing with the boys as their club is yet to have an U13 girls team. The more exposure that our top-level players can get to this high standard of cricket the better.
