LEINSTER BOLTS SQUAD FOR FINAL GAMES OF 2026 FUTURE SERIES COMPETITION (18TH & 19TH AUGUST)

The Sherwin O’Riordan sponsored Leinster Lightning Bolts will conclude their Future Series campaign for 2026 with two 50-over games next week against the Emerging Warriors.

The games will take place on Tuesday next 18th August and Wednesday next, 19th August, both games at Oak Hill, Kilbride, County Wicklow.

The competition is evenly poised going into the last round of fixtures with the Leinster Bolts marginally ahead of their visiting opponents but still all to play for next week as all four provincial pathway teams could be champions by next Wednesday evening (19th) depending on result permutations.

The equivalent fixtures against the Emerging Knights last week resulted in one win apiece and the Leinster Bolts will certainly be looking to sustain the form they showed in the second game when they overcame the Knights by 71 runs based on a brilliant, unbeaten 134 from Macdara Cosgrave backed up by a disciplined performance in the field.
