Merrion beat Leinster by 66 runs
Merrion batted first and made 166 in 20 overs with solid contributions from Polly Inglis (40) and Rachel Delaney (39*) with a return to form from Isobel Joyce with 26 off 18 balls. Best bowling was Ava Canning with 2-19 off 4 overs, backed up by Joanna Loughran (1-43) and Yolandi Van Der Westhuizen (1-25).
In reply Merrion took regular wickets and didn't allow Leinster to get settled at all. Ava Canning was top scorer with 35 but 4 wickets from Celeste Raack and 2 wickets from Julianne Morrissey saw Leinster dismissed for 100 in 18.4 overs.
Malahide beat Phoenix by 85 runs
A spectacular century from Bella Armstrong (102 off 56 balls, 17 fours) saw Malahide to imposing total of 195 in their 20 overs. Arlene Kelly (44) and Anne Kerrison (36) gave good support. For Phoenix Dempsey, Black and McDonough took 1 wicket each.
The Phoenix reply saw them bat the 20 overs, Georgina Dempsey top scored with 37 and Claire Terblanche made 25. The Malahide bowling was tight all round with Sarah Condron, Anna Kerrison and Beth Deacon each taking 2 wickets.
Phoenix finished on an admirable 110 off their allocation.
YMCA beat Clontarf by 66 runs
A 65 ball ton from Gaby Lewis was the backbone of the YMCA innings of 187. She was backed up by Siuin Woods with 48. Fraya Sargent took all three wickets for 29 runs.
In reply Christina Coulter-Reilly made 40 at the top of the order but the run out of Robyn Searle by Gaby Lewis for 14 was a key moment.
Scoreboard pressure meant that the Clontarf batters had to chase the run rate and they were unable to put a partnership together. Kate McEvoy (1-9), Kate Woods (1-26) and Alison Plunkett (1-21) all took wickets. Clontarf finished on 121/4 off their 20 overs
Pembroke beat The Hills by 7 wickets
The Hills batted first and Mary Anne Musonda continued her strong performances to date with 54 off 45 runs. Naomi Matthews was the next highest scorer with 21 and The Hills would have liked more than the 103 in 20 overs that they achieved.
The bowling was an all round effort with 2-17 for Anna Beale backed up by Louise Little (1-12) and Zoe Bell (1-30).
The Pembroke reply took some time to get going but they managed the run rate required well. Isobel Jennings (24) and Clare Shillington (25*) saw them over the line with 2.3 overs to spare
