SPORTSHUB DIVISION 4 INDIVIDUAL AWARDS CONFIRMED

With the league having come to a close last weekend, the SportsHub Division 4 Individual Awards are the final league in Women’s Competitions which are confirmed for the 2025 season.

Batting Cup

Starting off with the batting, the league champions have the winner of the award here, as Victoria Hayes claims the trophy, with her 157 runs coming at an average of 52.33. She just sees off competition from Samiya Ahluwalia, who averaged just above 40, in spite of being the leading aggregate scorer, with the top three rounded out by her sister, Samaira, who was the only other batter in the league to pass the qualifying threshold of 150 runs.

Bowling Cup

On the bowling front, it is again the two Adamstown sisters who have dominated in this sphere, with Samaira coming away victorious in this instance, as she claimed a massive 24 wickets, costing just 10.21 apiece, finishing up 8 wickets clear of her sister Samiya, who also had an impressive average of 11.69, as she picked up 16 wickets, with just the Adamstown duo meeting the 15 wicket qualification threshold.

Wicket-Keeping Cup

Finally, we come to the wicket-keeping award for the 2025 season, where last season’s runners-up has this season claimed the trophy by virtue of a tie-breaker. Gillian Lynch of Terenure claims the cup, as her five dismissals included two stumpings, one more than Evelyn Sunil of Adamstown.
