CL TABLE CRICKET SCHOOLS COMPETITIONS

We are delighted to announce a brand new competition structure for disability cricket in schools.

We are accepting entries now for Table Cricket teams - minimum of 6 players plus subs are allowed. This is a game that is suitable for all kids with disabilities. We have found that kids from ASD classes, Special Schools, kids with physical disabilities as well as those with learning disabilities have all thrived with table cricket.

Don't let lack of experience, equipment or training stop you from entering a team. We are here to help. Cricket Leinster's team of Development Officers for your area can drop off kit, I can run teacher training, and we can help you with some intro/refresher sessions to get your school team going!

There will be a primary and secondary school competition. Depending on the number of entries in each County, we will have small localised pools with schools playing against each other to battle it out to become their County Champion and go on to compete at a Leinster Finals Day.

Timeline:

• September 24th: Competition entries open
• October 8th, 5pm: Competition entries close
• October 10th, 12pm: Competition Draw will be sent to all schools entered (aiming for each school to have 2/3 matches depending on numbers - structure will depend on the entries - and we will keep travel to a minimum)
• November 25th: All regional competitions need to be complete
• Week Commencing December 1st: Leinster Finals Day
