In D5 Dundrum is well out in front with 11 wins and have won the league. The question is who will follow them up. Clontarf III and Merrion III are the two teams in contention and they meet each other this Saturday. There are a number of matches still to play in this league so the promotion race is still live. At the other end of the table Railway Union III and Leinster III are well adrift of third last Malahide III who have completed their programme. If Railway III were to win their last two matches ( there is no result in from last night's match yet) and get six bonus points they could overtake Malahide who have finished their season. A more realistic option may be to win their last match against Laois and drag them down into relegation territory. But they still need to win both matches. Leinster III are already relegated.
