The ex YMCA, South Leinster & Irish International Captain has come out of Coaching retirement, and has agreed to coach Pembroke women's team this summer.
"Taking on a women's team with such a big personality and talent pool was an easy decision. I had a good few years off and some great summers on the golf course, but I'm ready to give it another go. I was a bit nervous when approached by Pembroke, I may have felt the game had moved on a little since I played, but Pembroke skipper Ciara Metcalfe reassured me if she was still playing... it hadn't moved on that much. I'm looking forward to starting now, and lets see what this season has in store for us".
Ironically, Pembroke's opening game takes place against YMCA in Claremount Road, on Thursday April 30th at 6 pm.
