Cricket Leinster has become an official reseller of the Cricket Statz software, and can now offer clubs a 10% discount on any paid version.
Since 2011, we have used Cricket Statz to collate scorecards in both the Open and Women's Competitions, and the software has been vital in expanding the analysis and reporting that we display on the website, especially for those competitions that used to lie outside of the reporting sphere.
There cotinues to be a free version of the software that clubs, captains and players can use to submit scorecards. This continues to be available, and if all clubs and teams want to do is to send off their scorecards, then there is no need to do anything further.
But the free version is limited, in that only six matches can be stored at any one time - any keeping of statistics for your team or club is impossible. The paid versions of Cricket Statz offer unlimited matches, and much more.
Cricket Statz offers all the normal cricketing stats such as batting average and bowling average, but goes into great detail, with 77 reports in total, each of which can be filtered by club, ground, date, competition etc. It makes for a very powerful tool, with reports also exportable in a number of formats (inc csv).
The recommended licence is only STG£95, from which you can deduct a further 10% that Cricket Leinster can pass on to it's clubs. This program allows clubs to generate stats for their club, to create full scorecards, as well as to import matches. Any clubs taking up this offer will be able to import scorecards from their away games, meaning they will not have to re-enter them.
