Having won the toss, Terenure batted first at home in bright sunshine and despite another fine 50 from Henry Dall, they had been reduced to 113/7 in the 31st over.
There were then indebted to a tail which more than wagged as 66 were carefully accumulated for the 8th and 9th wickets such that they finished on 186/9 off their allotted overs. Aamir Bafanda (29) and Vishnu Sadanandan (23) the main contributors at numbers 8 & 9 respectively.
Best with the ball for Knockharley were veteran seamer Jack Condie who finished with 3/42 supported by Syed Mehdi who took 2/47 including the wicket of Bafanda.
In reply, Knockharley batted with good momentum putting on 50 inside the first 10 overs before Dall dismissed opener Sayed Zubair for a well made 32.
Despite a couple of quick wickets for Bafanda and Dall, Knockharley continued to make steady progress towards their target with Sumit Singh (41*) and Mubeen Ali (34) combining to add 67 for the 5th wicket in just 10 overs and all but seal the win for the Meath side.
Knockharley eased home in the 37th over by 5 wickets.

JONES LEADS QUINS TO THEIR FIRST WIN AT OAKHILL
Having won the toss, Adamstown initially continued where they left off on Friday evening’s Senior Cup win at Oak Hill as they reached 212/5 off just 35 overs with opener Angad Bawa leading the way with 75 off just 45 balls (including 5X4 and 7X6). Three other players contributed in the mid-30s (Dinesh Antony Kidagan David 36, Prashanth Prabhu Damodaran 35 and Shreyas Rajesh 31).
From this point the innings largely subsided with the last five wickets falling for the addition of just 34 runs with 10 overs unused.
Quins stuck to their task well in the field - Seanan Jones 2/20 off 8, Ibrahim Ahsan 3/21 off 5 and Preston Sierra chipping in with 2/31 including the prize wickets of Damodaran and Antony David.
Set 247 for victory, Quins made steady progress without any of the first 5 batters going on to make a big score, the highest being 27 from Vikranth Masina.
The Adamstown bowlers stuck to their task taking regular wickets throughout however the experienced Seanan Jones had other ideas as he marshalled the tail and in doing so plundered a brilliant unbeaten 86 to see his side home by 2 wickets with just 4 balls to spare.
An important first win for Quins.
