"Mullingar Cricket Club are hosting a sports quiz next Saturday, August 20th, in the Greville Arms Hotel at 8.30pm. Everyone  that loves sport, a good table or just a bit of fun is more than welcome to attend. The evening will conclude with the winners being announced for our Super Draw, of which tickets will be on sale during the night for many fantastic prizes including a signed Munster Rugby shirt, a signed cricket bat by the Irish team and 32" Smart TV to watch all the best and latest sport on.

 

The club is growing from strength to strength on the pitch and since our move to St Finian’s College our membership continues to grow year on year. We currently have three adults’ mens teams, a growing underage structure and have launched an adult Ladies’ team in 2016. 

 

We are also keen to help promote the game of cricket in the Mullingar area and are planning to partner with local schools to introduce the game to kids at an early age, by providing coaching to local teachers and completing drop in sessions with the pupils in the local area.  

 

Mullingar Cricket Club along with all cricket clubs have a constant battle raising funds to maintain our playing facilities and equipment, and keep our finances in good order.  Our fundraising endeavours can only be achieved with the kind support of friends, families, businesses and local partnerships in the Mullingar area and wider cricketing community. All our local sponsors who have so far given so generously to the club cannot be thanked enough.
