Cricket Leinster would like to invite people to participate in a Focus Group being established to examine the future structures, playing formats and regulations for teams playing in Open Competitions from Divisions 3 to 16 inclusive.

There are clearly a wide range of challenges across this group of playing divisions and cricket formats.

It is expected that the deliberations of this Focus Group will cover topics including League & Cup competition formats, T20 cricket, promotion & relegation, umpiring, grounds/facilities, development league etc.

The objective of this Group is to identify any changes and improvements required for 2018 aimed at maximising player participation, enjoyment and fulfilment in the game across the various levels.

It is anticipated that this Focus Group will meet at least twice before the planned Club Day on Sunday 5th November (Green Isle Hotel).
