ED SPORTS DIVISION 3 & 4 INDIVIDUAL AWARDS CONFIRMED (SEPT 9TH)

Following the conclusion of ED Sports Division 3 last evening, Cricket Leinster can now confirm the individual award winners for both Division 3 & 4, which have been won by Rush and North County respectively.

Rush do feature in the award winners in Division 3, as they did last year, whilst in Division 4, it shows just how much of a team effort it was for the North County women on their first full season in the league that just two of their players feature across the leaderboards.

DIVISION 3

SHARP CUP (BATTING)

This trophy is headed to Clontarf, as the star of their Minor Cup final has amassed a remarkable 439 runs at an average of nearly 88. The youngest player to win an award in Women’s Competitions this season is Sophie O’Toole, who rounds out a fine break-out season by claiming the Sharp Cup at just 13 years old.

That is something of a theme in this list, as she finished clear of The Hills’ U17 star and Aimee Scollard, the left-hander amassing 569 runs at 56.9, whilst Pembroke’s Jess Duffy-Mullen at just 14 was the only player to make a century at this level this season, in her total of 425 runs at 42.5. Zoe Harper of Balbriggan is the other 13 year old to feature on the list, which is rounded out by Phoenix’s skipper Deepa Jaltade.

SCHMIDT CUP (BOWLING)

The Schmidt Cup is the second trophy of the season which is heading to Terenure, as a remarkable season for Georgia Duke has seen her round out the Division 3 season as the only bowler to cross the 20 wicket barrier, just as she was in the Division 2 list. Her brilliant form throughout 2026 saw her claiming this trophy with a total of 24 wickets coming at an average of just 12.29.

She finished ahead of Phoenix’s Lily McDonagh, who’s 18 wickets included a best effort of 4/20, leaving her ahead of Rush captain Catherine Foley and Clontarf’s Francesca Lawless, who both took 19 wickets each, averaging 16 and a touch above 17 respectively.

WICKET KEEPING CUP

The wicket-keeping trophy is the one which is headed back to Kenure with the league champions, as Eileen Foley regains this award with a total of 9 dismissals featuring seven catches and two stumpings, having last won it in the 2024 season.

She finishes clear of Sorcha Cunningham of Merrion, who snared 7 victims behind the stumps, whilst Clontarf’s Caitlin Gray was in third with 6.

DIVISION 4

BATTING CUP

The batting cup for Division 4 sees a clear winner, as Terenure’s Susan McKeown finishes the season with an excellent average of 63.67, having amassed 382 runs across her 10 matches, including a top score of 85* and passing 50 four times in the process. She becomes the second Terenure player to win the award in the past four seasons.

North County’s Lauren Bolton finishes second in the standings, with her 327 runs coming at an average of 46.71, as she played an integral role in her side’s league winning campaign, whilst Alison Holmes of Laois was third, making a total of 274 runs in her side’s first full league campaign. The list is rounded out by North Kildare teenager Michaela Langford, and Adamstown’s cup-winning skipper Samiya Ahluwalia.

BOWLING CUP

The bowling cup for Division 4 has been retained, as there was total domination for Adamstown’s players at the top of the leaderboard. Samaira Ahluwalia claimed this award in 2025 with an excellent average of 10.21, however she has bettered that this season, as she claimed her wickets at just 8.07 apiece, including a best bowling of 3/10.

She finishes clear of team-mates Sanjana Suresh and Eva Sunil, who both claimed 15 wickets apiece at equally impressive averages of 9.67 and 10.07.

WICKET KEEPING CUP

Finally the wicket-keeping award is also headed to Airlie Park, as having lost out in the tie-breaker last season, Adamstown’s ‘keeper Evelyn Sunil was streets ahead in this league in 2026. Her 12 catches and 3 stumpings see her finishing 12 dismissals clear of her nearest rivals, and in doing so claim the Division 4 wicket-keeping cup.
