East Coast FM has partnered with Cricket Leinster to incorporate Division 1 and 2 scores in the East Coast FM Sunday Night Sports Show, hosted by Michael Sargent.
The scores will be presented around 9pm each week, in a move that East Coast FM Program Director Mark Robinson says is a significant step in the continued growth of Irish Cricket.
'It's all very well when our national team gets coverage in major tournaments, but week to week is where the Irish team sees its player's nurtured, developed and shaped into potential internationals. The domestic Cricket scene in Ireland is a vibrant and extremely competitive competition, and Leinster has always been one of the strongest regions, with participation and support levels huge, and growing.
We're very pleased to be offering an outlet for fans to get the scores each week, and only see the relationship growing, and with Wicklow providing a number of great Cricketers, most particularly the Joyce family, we're great supporters in this area, as well as broader Leinster'.
