Cricket Leinster is proud to announce the publication of the Cricket4All Strategy 2025–2027 in collaboration with our valued charity partners, Lord’s Taverners Ireland. This ambitious roadmap builds on our strong foundations in disability cricket and outlines clear objectives to make cricket even more inclusive and accessible across Leinster. Focused on expanding over the next 3 years programmes such as table cricket, blind cricket, and ID cricket within schools and clubs, the strategy marks a significant step towards a future where everyone, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to enjoy and excel in the game.
Reflecting on the launch of the strategy, Naomi Scott-Hayward, Cricket Leinster’s Disability Inclusion and Participation Manager, explained: “The Cricket4All Strategy is more than a plan — it’s a statement of belief that cricket should be for everyone, everywhere. With this strategy, we are laying the foundations for a future where ability is never a barrier to playing and loving cricket. I’m thrilled to be working for Cricket Leinster alongside Lord’s Taverners Ireland to make this a reality for communities across Leinster.”
Cricket Leinster’s General Manager, Philip Smith, underlined the importance of the new strategy within the organisation’s wider vision, stating: “Cricket has the power to unite, inspire, and create lasting change. The Cricket4All Strategy ensures that no one is left behind in our mission to grow the game. This spirit of inclusion is at the heart of Cricket Leinster’s commitment to creating a truly welcoming environment for players of all abilities."
Ger Siggins, President of Lord’s Taverners Ireland, also welcomed the publication of the strategy, saying: “Our work has always been about giving young people a sporting chance. The Cricket4All Strategy takes that commitment to the next level, building opportunities for every individual to participate and shine. With this strong partnership and a clear roadmap in place, Cricket Leinster looks forward to helping even more people discover a lifelong love for the game."
