Fundraising is a key element of the funding model of the not-for-profit sector. Sports clubs typically benefit from the generosity of volunteers and supporters but many have not reached their potential when it comes to raising funds philanthropically.
In recognition of this, Cricket Leinster has retained the services of 2into3 to assist in guiding our individual and collective fundraising approaches and techniques.
2into3 is a firm with expertise in fundraising strategy development and has also recently worked with us to deliver the Sports Capital Grant Masterclass which was well received.
We are now inviting clubs to participate in a Fundraising Strategy Development Masterclass on Wednesday 21st February (7.00pm to 9.30pm) in the Talbot Hotel, Stillorgan. This Masterclass will inform participants of the fundraising landscape, the process of developing a fundraising strategy and practical key steps to get your club ready to fundraise.
This event is free to attend. The purpose of this collaboration is to encourage more of our cricket clubs to diversify their funding model, while also developing their capacity to fundraise effectively.
Once registered, we will be asking participants to provide some information which will be used to inform the Masterclass. By gathering such information, it will allow us to examine the strengths and challenges of clubs with regard to fundraising, and inform key insights to support you in achieving your ambition.
We can assure complete confidentiality with regard to any information provided as part of this process.
