CL CENTRALISED FIXTURES CONFIRMED - FEBRUARY 23RD
With less than 2 months to go until the beginning of the 2026 Season, Cricket Leinster is delighted to publish on our website the centralised fixtures for the following Competitions.

In addition to these fixtures, the SportsHub Junior, Minor and Division 4 Cups for Women's Competitions have also got allocated dates for each of their rounds, these may be changed however only with permission from the Women's Committee.
As introduced during the 2025 season, 2026 sees a continued agreement between the Open Competitions Committee and Women's Committee, allowing for Open fixtures to be played later in the afternoon where light allows, in order to play a Women's fixture before the game. This move will allow any 40-over Open Competition fixture, between May 9th and August 9th, to be moved back to a 2pm start, therefore facilitating a 10:30am start in the Women's Competitions fixture. It is hoped that this arrangement will allow for more weekend Women's Cricket, decreasing the amount of pressure on travel times for clubs.
The SportsHub Women's Premier League sees an increased usage of weekend dates in the 2026 season, their action gets underway on Sunday, April 26th, with the showpiece final day of the season set for September 5th.
The IBI Corporate Finance Premier League gets underway on April 25th, with a full round of 6 fixtures taking place. Holders Pembroke take on near-neigbours Railway Union as they bid for a 'three-peat', whilst the runners-up from last term, Leinster, kick off their campaign at home to Balbriggan.
The all-important 'split' will occur following the 11th round of fixtures on July 25th, with the five Premier League/Championship Match Days seeing games on August 16th, 22nd, 29th and September 6th, with the finale of the season being September 12th.
As per previous seasons, some notable dates to look out for in the calendar will include the SportsHub Senior Cup Final, on July 10th, followed by the LHK Group Alan Murray Cup Finals Day, on July 11th. The LHW Financial Planning Leinster Senior Cup Final is set for August 1st, these marquee finals are always excellent occasions in the club cricket season.
With these fixtures now uploaded and available online, CL can confirm that the Fixture Making Process between clubs will begin this week, and are asking all clubs to be prepared accordingly for this, with communications regarding the process to be circulated in the next few days.
