All Ireland rankings - No change in the top 10

It is very much a case of "as you were" in this week's rankings. In all three unions, it was a day for the favourites to win. The only change was before the weekend even started, when Clontarf's win in The Hills temporarily lifted them to 4th place. However, their humbling defeat to Merrion saw their position back to 5th.

Any movements were further down. The biggest movement of the week was from Cork County, whose home win against Balbriggan saw them rise four places, overtaking Carrickfergus, Ardmore, Woodvale and Terenure.

Railway Union were the only other club to go up by more than one place. Their home win against North County saw them go up two to 20th, leapfrogging Malahide, who beat them in the Senior Cup a few weeks ago.

Donemana beat Strabane in the North West Senior Cup on Saturday, before a surprise loss to Eglinton spoiled their weekend somewhat. That was enough to move up a place above North County, who slipped to 13th

The forthcoming weekend sees quarter final matches in both the Ulster Cup and Leinster Senior Cup. How do the rankings predict those matches will go?

Ulster Cup

Donemana (12th) to beat Lisburn (19th)

Bready (15th) to lose to North Down (7th)

CIYMS (14th) to lose to Civil Service North (9th)

Instonians (4th) to lose to Waringstown (2nd)

Leinster Senior Cup

Malahide (21st) to beat Phoenix (27th)

North County (11th) to lose to The Hills (6th)

Clontarf (5th) to beat Cork County (29th)

Pembroke (11th) to lose to Merrion (1st)

But what would cricket be without upsets? As always, the form book is bound to be torn up, so sit back and enjoy the cricket!
