25 U19 players have taken part in D2/LSC competition so far this year. A number of these played for Dublin University and have returned to their main clubs. The figures relate only to D2 and Leinster Senior Cup matcheswhen playing for D2 side.
Stephen Doheny [Rush] has scored a massive 545 runs, with an average of 54.5. This includes 5 half-centruies and a century [102]. Gareth Delany [Leinster] has amassed a total of 369 runs at an average of 46.12, with a highest score of 99* and one otehr 50. The only other player who has scored more than 150 runs [to qualify] is Lorcan Tucker with 278 for Trinity with a century [118*], two 50s and the highest average in the league at 69.50.
Two players have taken 14 wickets each. Topping the table is Gareth Delany with an average of 14.93 and an economy rate of 4.70. The only other youth player to figure is Aaron Cawley [Cork] who also took 14 wickets at an average of 19.66 and an economy rate of 4.15.
The total number of matches played by U19s is 105, with 1640 runs scored and 58 wickets taken.
