Youth league averages: Open Competitions D1 - D6

D1

45 players under the age of 19 competed in 269 OCD1 matches. They contributed 2519 runs, making 8 fifties along the way. 24 bowlers sent down 777 overs and took 130 wickets. The highest score was 89* by Colin Currie [Clontarf] and  the best individual bowling performance was 7/29 by Jack Balbirnie [Pembroke].

Interesting only 38 youth players in this league and took part in 160 OCD6 matches. They contributed 1645 runs, with two hendreds and only four fifties. 27 bowlers sent down 529 overs and took 116 wickets. The initial report has been corrected to include Patrick Monks [Rush] who was inadvertently left out. He had the best individual performance [105*], being higher than Harry Shivmangal [Knockharley] who had perviously been so credited, and the best individual bowling performance was 6/41 by Umar Sharif [Longford].
