Youth Competitions Update

Youth Cricket in 2013 – 6th August

YMCA beat The Hills by 3 wkts in the U13 Clarissa Cup and also won the U15 Leinster Union Cup by 22 runs against the same opposition.

The U11 Plate Tolan Cup between Old Belvedere and Clontarf has to be refixed due to rain. Details in next week.

This week’s finals are the U19 Sean McGrath Cup between Leinster and North County at Rathmines at 5 30 pm on Friday and the U13 Plate Beamer’s Cup between Terenure and Clontarf in Terenure at 9 30 am on Saturday morning.

The U11C league Stockton Cup semi finals take place on Monday 12th followed by the final on Wednesday 14th .

The U11B league Claremont Cup Cup semi finals take place on Tuesday 13th followed by the final on Thursday 15th .

The details will not be available until the weekend so watch the website.

Boys Leagues

U11A – Three results moves Phoenix into second behind winners YMCA.

U11BN – The results here make Malahide section winners with Phoenix second but not safe.

U11BS – With four games played YMCA and Leinster are tied followed by Old Belvedere with the rest out of contention.

U11CN – Any two from  Adamstown, Clontarf, Phoenix and Malahide can still qualify.

U11CS – Greystones still third behind Leinster and YMCA have clinched the section.

U13A – Pembroke are on top but YMCA and Leinster are in joint second place.

U13BN – Clontarf are now on top with Rush and Malahide not out of it.

U13BS – Leinster are tied with YMCA and Railway Union are third.

U13C -  No results so everyone still in the hunt.

U15A – With three results and many games outstanding Phoenix and Rush are top with four clubs tying for third place.

U15BN – The Hills lead from Civil Service, Malahide and Clontarf.

U15BS – Leinster and YMCA are tied and both are unbeaten.

U171 –  North County lead from Merrion and Rush.

U172 – Leinster, Pembroke and YMCA are now joint top.

U173 –The Hills have won the section.

U19N – Section winners are North County .

U19S – Leinster with two wins have won the section as the one outstanding result is between the two clubs they have already beaten.

Girls’ Leagues

U11 – Pembroke are leading from The Hills and Malahide.

U13  - YMCA are comfortably ahead, unbeaten and lead from Merrion and Rush.

U15 – The Hills and Merrion are now tied with Merrion having one more game played.

U17 – Rush/Malahide and Leinster are tied with Leinster unbeaten.

Boys’ Cups

U11 – YMCA beat Pembroke by 8 wkts in the final.

U13 – YMCA beat Merrion by 7 wkts in the final.

U15 – Clontarf beat North County by 102 runs in the final.

Girls’ Cups

U11 – The Hills beat Clontarf in the final.

U13 – YMCA beat The Hills by 3 wkts in the final.

U15 – YMCA beat The Hills by 22 runs in the final.
