Despite the heavy skies, two of the three fixtures in the IBI Corporate Finance First Team League got played to a result.
Based on today’s results and with no play possible in Cork, Knockharley finish the weekend at the top of the First Team League table, a strong statement in their debut season at this level.
The team from Kentstown travelled to Oak Hill (where Adamstown 1st team are hosting their home games) and made light work of disposing of Adamstown by 7 wkts with many overs to spare.

Meanwhile at The Maws, Terenure collapsed from 127/3 at one stage (with runs again for Mick Cotter and Sid Nair) to 166 all out and in doing so provided the home side with a more straightforward chase.

Yash Kalasannavar and Asadullah Ahmadzai set the platform and despite a late wobble the home side prevailed by 2 wickets leaving Terenure to lament their middle/late order batting earlier in the afternoon.
