Cricket in the South East (Wexford) received a big boost recently with over 700 schoolchildren taking part in the annual ‘Fun in the Sun’ run by Sports Active Wexford.
The children aged 7-14 participated in cricket and other sporting activities at the following venues - Courtown, Roslare, Duncannon, Curracloe and Loftus Hall.
Wexford CC club members and coaches Herbie Honohan, Paul Messette and Naill Honohan were delighted with the turn out and the fact that so many children got to try their hand at playing cricket.
