Welcome to the new Cricket Leinster website. The site has been over a year in the planning and has been built over the last 4 months by our development partners, Devhaus.
The new website is completely responsive, so that it works on whatever device you wish to use it on. When building the site we took into account not only the prior user analytics and data but also all of your feedback from the Cricket Leinster website user survey that we ran online in October.
We're delighted that all of the historic results, statistics, articles and photos galleries have been ported over to the new platform. And any of the previous favourite sections from the old site are enhanced on the new one. Check out the League Tables, Cup Draws, Statistics and Fixtures to see how some of these sections work.
A key focus on the new site is the new Leinster Lightning section. The Cairn Homes sponsored team have player profiles, their latest fixtures & results and more in this in-depth section of the site.
My Cricket Leinster registration will open on Thursday 28th February. This is the process you will need to pay for and complete if you wish to be a player in the 2019 season. All players, even those who were registered on the old system will need to register on the new My Cricket Leinster system.
It's not just players who can register via My Cricket Leinster however. Umpires, Scorers, Coaches, Fans, Club Administrators and Parents can register for a free account. There is also a registration process for social cricketers.
Your My Cricket Leinster account will get you access to your very own portal with extra features such as being able to favourite various clubs and fixtures as well as provide updates to the Match Centre.
The website is launching in 2 major phases. The first of which you were using today and the second of which will launch in advance of the 2019 season. The Phase 2 launch will include the new Match Centre, new live scoring integration, player starrings, team sheet submissions, the CL Archive and other final sections.
Thanks to Dave and all his team in Devhaus for their tireless work in getting the website ready in time for the 2019 season. Special thanks also to Rodney Smythe, Joe Curtis, Rob O'Connor, Deryck Vincent and Bernie O'Farrell whose photos really help the website come to life, to all the clubs for submitting all your information, to Paul Reynolds and Eddie Lewis for their trojan levels of work on the new and old site and to all others involved including Michael Sharp and Ger Siggins in making the new site possible in this our Centenary year. Thanks also to our Project Manager (Andrew Leonard) who has overseen the project from start to finish.
So please go and enjoy the new site. If you have any comments or queries please drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or use the Contact us page here.
