Clubs have been invited to indicate if they are willing, subject to agreement on specific matches and dates, to host representative matches in 2014. Clubs are asked to reply by the end of August simply confirming that they are willing to host such matches, together with some indication of the types of matches they would have a preference for. This information will be passed on to Cricket Ireland.
If a club is not in a position to host representative fixtures for Cricket Ireland in 2014 it would still be helpful if they could indicate if they wish to be considered for matches in future years.
Apart from the requirements of Cricket Ireland for clubs to host matches, the LCU also depends on clubs to host cup finals, matches against touring sides and Leinster under age representative fixtures. The LCU will be contacting clubs directly about these matches before club fixtures are arranged for next year.
