Please see below info on an upcoming TY Welcome to Cricket Course which Cricket Leinster are running in conjunction with Cricket Ireland in the King's Hospital on December 5th. All female participates are allowed to attend for free as they're course fee will be covered by Women In Sport (WIS) funding. All students coming from schools in the South Dublin County Council (SDCC) area are also given free places, covered by SDCC.

Registration is essential.

Welcome to Cricket Course

Aimed at Transition Year students, suitable for teachers also.

DATE: Tuesday, 5^th December, 1 - 4pm

VENUE: The King’s Hospital School (Sports Hall at the back), Palmerstown, Dublin 22.

COST:€20pp or FREE for Students from schools in the South Dublin area (Thanks to South Dublin County Council) and all female participants (Thanks to Sport Ireland’s Women In Sport funding)

• Participants to be 14 years old or older
• If a letter is needed for your school, please let us know when you are registering
• Fun small-sided games, basic skills and drills for batting, bowling and fielding
• ‘How to coach’ skills – Fun, Safety, Organised, Learning
• Resources emailed to the participants following the course
• Cricket Ireland Certificate on completion
