Cricket Leinster would like to extend its sympathes and thoughts to all of those affected by the sad loss of two members of the wider cricketing community this week.
Bernie O'Connor was the partner of the well known member of The Hills, Martin Russell. Martin has put in a life's work in the cricketing community; as a player, administrator and top class umpire, as well as serving on numerous Cricket Leinster committees. Martin is always on hand to welcome vistors to Milverton, and our thoughts are with all those who knew and loved Bernie.

This week also saw the tragic death of Mehdi Hasan, a former player for Civil Service, who has passed away at the age of 25.
