With the first round of matches now all competed, Leinster clubs maintain their strong presence in the competition. Over the weekend Merrion and Malahide disposed of strong NCU opposition in CIYMS and Instonians.
In the first round when Leinster clubs compete against opposition from the other unions, Leinster clubs came out on top in eight out of nine encounters. In the last match Terenure conceded their match against Bready Togehter with Railway who lost against Strabane they are the only Leinster clubs missing from the next round.
In the second round there are two matches with an all Leinster cast as YMCA take on Merrion and Malahide have The Hills as their opponents. All the other Leinster teams have home draws in R2. The full list of matches, which are scheduled for the 6th June, is as follows.
