Squad Announcement for Hanley Energy IPC & IP50 Matches

Next week sees two games between the Leinster Lightning and the Northwest Warriors as the team makes the journey to Eglinton for a 50 over match on June 19th and then Bready for a three day match starting the following day, June 20th.

With one 50 over match played to date Leinster Lightning are top of the table over the Warriors, but only on run rate. This is sure to be a competitive match as both teams will look to take the points and top of the table.

The Leinster Lightning selectors have the pleasure in announcing the following squad for the 50 over match on June 19th:

George Dockrell (Leinster); Peter Chase (Malahide), John Anderson, Tyrone Kane (both Merrion); Lorcan Tucker, John Little & Andrew Balbirnie (all Pembroke); Simi Singh, Jack Tector (both YMCA); Sean Terry (The Hills); Kevin O’Brien (Railway Union), Eddie Richardson (North County)

The Championship is also very close with Leinster Lightning top of the table having played one match more. Both teams will be looking for a positive result to set them up for the rest of the season.

The Leinster Lightning selectors have the pleasure in announcing the following squad for the Championship match starting June 20th:

George Dockrell (Leinster); Peter Chase (Malahide), John Anderson, Tyrone Kane, Tom Stanton (all Merrion); Lorcan Tucker, Josh Little & Andrew Balbirnie (all Pembroke); Simi Singh, Jack Tector & Jarred Barnes (all YMCA); Sean Terry (The Hills)

Philip Smith, Cricket Leinster General Manager, wished the squad well for these matches saying “This week will see a real challenge for the team with four days cricket in a row. We’ll be looking to continue our good start to the season on all fronts and to maintain our position at the top of the table. None of this would be possible without the support of Cairn Homes PLC who continue to support our team strongly.”
