Seam/Fast Bowling Workshop - Saturday 18th February

Don't forget, this coming Saturday, North County will be hosting a National Coaching Workshop run by the Cricket Ireland Coaches Association (CICA).

2 hour Seam / Fast Bowling Workshop in the NCU, NWCU and LCU areas, with Surrey CCC Assistant Head Coach, Stuart Barnes.

As a former First Class Seam Bowler with Gloucestershire, Stuart is keen to pass on his wealth of knowledge and experience to all coaches in Ireland. During the session, Stuart will be working with some of our best young seam bowlers in the country, to give coaches an idea of what he looks for in fast bowler whilst also providing coaches with some new ideas when coaching what can be one of the most difficult areas to coach.

Here are some of the topics that Stuart will look to cover:

• Coaching Seam / Fast Bowlers,
• Grip and bowling action, Drills,
• Tactical awareness,
• The finer arts of Seam Bowling,
• Problem Solving.
