Cricket Leinster is delighted to announce that the Russell Court Hotel Group is to become the flag-ship sponsor of Divisions 1 and 2 of our Men's Open League Competitions.
The sponsorship was officially launched this week with Rangan Arulchelvan of Russell Court Hotel who said - 'I am pleased to have the opportunity to support the development of cricket in Leinster in this way. The standard of cricket in Divisions 1 and 2 is very high and provides a good platform for players to develop to their full potential. This high standard mirrors the professionalism of our business at Russell Court so we feel this sponsorship dovetails well with our own ambitions. We hope all cricketers across Leinster will see the Russell Court Hotel as a worthy sponsor and also a great venue to celebrate their successes on the field'.
From a Cricket Leinster perspective, Philip Smith, General Manager, commented as follows - 'We are delighted to have the Russell Court Hotel on-board as sponsor of our senior men's leagues and I want to thank Rangan for providing this practical support to the development of cricket in Leinster. It is an exciting time for our sport and this sponsorship provides another timely boost for everyone involved.'
As part of this sponsorship, the two leagues will be known as the 'Russell Court Division One' and the 'Russell Court Division Two'.
