Russell Court Division 2 Preview

Malahide v Rush

Malahide welcome Rush to the Village today in an important Russell Court Division 2 encounter today. Sitting second currently, with a game in hand, Malahide could do their promotion chances a lot of of good today with a win. Rush will be smarting from last week's defeat to Railway and will be ready for the battle. Malahide probably slight favourites with the Ford brothers in such good form, but Rush have the firepower to cause them a lot of problems. A close game in prospect.

Dublin University v Balbriggan

In their Russell Court Division 2 game today, table toppers Balbriggan travel to College Park to take on the Students who are nearing the end of their season. Balbriggan lost narrowly to Malahide last week in a thriller, and they will be all guns blazing to get back on the promotion track today. Dublin University have been in and out so far wining only 1 game. If Balbriggan's batting fires that could be good enough for the win. If the Students are at full strength they can be very dangerous. These games are notoriously hard to call over the years, and often go down to the wire.

Railway Union v Terenure

Railway Union, fresh from a double winning weekend will be chomping at the bit to get back on the park. The welcome Terenure to Park Avenue in their Russell Court Division 2 League Match today. Terenure sit bottom of the table winless after 4 matches. They really need something to start happening for them soon. Railway on paper would appear to be the stronger outfit. After last week's heroics they should be in line for their third win. Terenure will be looking for their big players to step up and be counted to get their season going. Home win looks likely though.
