RSA Open Competitions: End May Update

To the end of May there have been 389 matches completed [another 16 No Results]. There are also a number of matches awaiting re-fixes. Merrion has played most matches so far [27], followed by Railway U [23] and Clontarf [21].

With four wins out of four - Cork County is currently the most successful club playing in the Open Competitions [wins / losses]. They are followed by Castleknock with an overall success rate of just over 90% in the 12 matches they have played [excluding NR] to date. Next up  is Trinity with over 80%, followed by Greystones and Adamstown with a greater than 70% average

At the other end of the scale, three clubs have yet to record a victiory [although relatively few matches have been played] i.e. Cabinteely, Ring Commons and Wicklow. Of the larger clubs Sandyford, Leinster and Bagenalstown will all be hoping for an improvement in fortunes.

The most successful team in the league to date is Dublin University III [7/7] in Division 13. Other teams who have yet to lose a match [and have played three or more] are The Hills [D1], Clontarf and Terenure [D2], Cork COunty [D3], North County [D5], Adamstown [D8], Knockharley and DU II [D9], Castelknock II, Greystones II and The Hills IV [D11], Swords II and Phoenix V [D12], DU III and Dundrum III [D13] and Castleknock III [D14].
