An RSA sponsored extension to the Cricket Leinster website will see the setting up of the RSA Match Centre which will allow users to view and update information on cricket across the province.
This weekend we are carrying out a trial run where anyone interested can help test the new features. Any feedback is welcome. It is hoped that the full system will be up and working in time for the Senior Cup Final next weekend.
In simple terms the RSA Match Centre will provide a list of all matches that are taking place that day in Leinster. Anyone with a smart mobile phone e.g. iPhone, a tablet e.g. iPad, or access to the internet will be able to see any information from these matches and provide updates.
Anyone with a mobile phone can tweet information on a match they are attending (using #cricketleinster). Clubs can also nominate people to provide more detailed information on matches using any mobile device. Anyone using Total Cricket Scorer [TCS] for scoring can simply e/mail scorecards to the Match Centre. Finally, the site will display any matches that are being recorded live using TCS.
